Grayrigg

Grayrigg is a small English village situated 5 miles from the Cumbrian town of Kendal. Its postcode region is LA8.

- On 18 May 1947, a 13-carriage Glasgow to London express failed to stop at signals and collided with a locomotive with 33 people injured, three seriously.[1]
- On 23 February 2007, Grayrigg was the site of a fatal derailment involving a Virgin Trains service from London Euston to Glasgow Central.[2]
