"Grave Like Groor" is an episode of the series Ōban Star-Racers.
With no lead pilot, the Earth Team desperately searches for a replacement, that is until Molly jumps into the pilot seat and enters the next race. Even though she wins, Don Wei, blinded by his own pride, accuses her of humiliating him, and announces his intentions to withdraw from the tournament.
[edit] Plot
After Rick is injured, Don Wei panics, looking to team members for substitution. He starts with Jordan, the gunner, and he doesn't do too well. Next, he asks Stan and Koji to help, but they decline, saying they're just simple mechanics. Disappointed, he goes to the judges to ask for a reprieve. Everyone, except Molly, follows him. Molly, when sitting outside, is visited by Satis. After a little chat, Satis disappears, and when Molly goes looking for him, she notices the lid of the Arrow is open. She decides to try it out, but quickly finds out that she isn't big enough to reach the pedals. She notices her Rocket Seat, and decides to join the two. While Don is walking back to the Earth team pit, he decides that he will be the one to pilot the Arrow because the judges didn't give him the reprieve. After Jordan notices some nuts and bolts on the ground, the Arrow lifts off, with Molly in the seat. Jordan tries to stop her, but she manages to convince him to get in and help her. They are re-racing Groor, and he thinks he should have won the race. During the race, the Arrow II seems more unstable that its counterpart, until Koji give Molly some advice. During the race, Molly engages the hyper-drive, giving her a significant lead, but draining all of her power. When Groor catches up, Molly notices the rivits that are holding Groor's racer together, and tells Jordan to shoot at them. He does, and Groor's ship is split in two. Molly manages to drive the ship to the finish line on its slow wheels. When Molly meets Don, he says that they are withdrawing from the race due to Molly's moves. Molly, infuriated, kicks a toolbox and runs away with tears in her eyes. Jordan comments on the emotional unstableness of girls and glances at Don. Don just looks at the retreating form of Molly.
