Graun im Vinschgau (German) or Curon Venosta (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in the South Tyrol in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 90 km northwest of Trento and about 70 km northwest of Bolzano, on the border with Switzerland and Austria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,397 and an area of 210.5 km2.[1]

The municipality of Curon Venosta/Graun im Vinschgau contains the subdivisions Graun, Langtaufers (Vallelunga) (including Kapron/Caprone and Melag/Melago), Reschen (Resia), and St. Valentin auf der Haide (San Valentino alla Muta).

Curon Venosta/Graun im Vinschgau borders the following municipalities: Kaunertal (Austria), Mals/Malles Venosta, Nauders (Austria), Pfunds (Austria), Ramosch (Switzerland), Sent (Switzerland), Sölden (Austria), and Tschlin (Switzerland).
