Grape Street Watts Crips

Grape St. Watts is a Crips gang located in the South Los Angeles district of Watts. Grape St. Watts are one of the notorious and well known Crips gangs in Los Angeles. They wear purple and they also wear Los Angeles Lakers or University of Washington gear. They are known to wear "Air Jordan" headbands upside down which makes the Jordan logo appear downward (Jordan Down). They have a call that they yell out to each other to signal for police, enemies, or just to get the attention of other members. The sound is pronounced "Ooo-Woooo". Their main area is the Jordan Downs. Since most members are young, they attend nearby David Starr Jordan High School and Edwin Markham Middle School. Their main Crip rivals are the PJ Watts Gang who stay in the Imperial Courts. The Bounty Hunter Bloods, who occupy the Nickerson Gardens, are their main Bloods rivals, although they don't get along with any Blood gangs. They are known to be allies with the South Side Watts Varrio Grape Street 13, a latino gang, despite recent reports of racial division in Los Angeles; these two groups are virtually unaffected by the racial tensions and reside in harmony with each other, considering the fact that Watts is one of the only places in Los Angeles where African-Americans and Latinos have shared neighborhoods for nearly a century, little to no tensions exist
They are known to be rowdy at clubs and music concerts. This particular set of Crips has a well-known dislike for the East Coast rap music group " the Diplomats " also commonly referred to as Dipset byrd gang ,as seen on the Concrete Hell DVD vol.1 & The new soon to be released Concrete Hell DVD East coast vol.2 & The Watts Witt it DVD - The beef stems from Dipset wearing purple & red bandannas wich are rival colors and posing as gang members when they are really champagne popping fashionable Rapstars and profiting off of the very dangerous West Coast street life. The grapes territory stretches from 95th Street to the North, Willowbrook Avenue to the West, Alameda Street to the East, and 112th Street to the South in the notorious Watts district of Los Angeles. Grape St. Watts has been recognized by many authorities as one of the most notorious street gangs under the Crip umbrella.

There are subsets(that act in autonomy) from the whole gang: Anzac Grape Street Watts Crips(different from the ones in Compton), 95th Grape Street Watts Crips(one way streets), 97th Grape Street Watts Crips-Bandera Blocc(one-way streets), 103rd Grape Street Watts Crips(the ones in the Jordan Downs),101st Grape Street Watts Baby Loc Crips, 105th Grape Street Watts (New Homes, Blue Gate Baby Locs),107th Grape Street Watts Crip (off of Santana the gang's original street),112th Grape Street Watts Crip(near Willow Brook St. near the train tracks) The cliques are: Ynb clicc, Peda Roll Mafia, Dustown Hawgs, Real Bo$$ Playaz, East Side Kids, Ten-Tray Ballaz(reside in the Blue Gates), Parolees, Playville, Tip-Top, Purple Rag Mafia Grape Street Watts Crips also reside on the "One Ways" (Residential Blocks) or the "Blue-Gates" officially known as the Watts Arms I and II(low income apartment complexes, there used to be crips called the Blue Gate Mafia Crips but they are now defunct but now the Grape Streets reside in there)
