Grant Rovelli (born September 3, 1983 in Mackay, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian rugby league player for the New Zealand Warriors club in the National Rugby League competition. His usual position of choice is at halfback. He can also play at five-eight and hooker. He'd previously played in the Sydney Roosters Premier League team for thre years, where in 2004 they'd won the Grand Final and also made it to the final game in 2005. Rovelli was initially brought in as cover depth, and started off the bench in round 1 this year against the Melbourne Storm as an interchange hooker. But soon enough, with the halves not quite working Rovelli was then entrusted with the halfback duties. It didn't take him long to cement his spot in the starting 13 every week and even gained a contract extension. His talents soon had him ear marked as a finalist for the Dally M Rookie of the Year award and he also won the Vodafone Young Player of the Year award in the club's annual awards night.
