Grant Petersen is an American bicycle company-owner and mastermind behind Bridgestone and later Rivendell bicycles. He was the mind behind Bridgestone Bicycle Company during the 80s and 90s. After the closure of the Bridgestone Bicycle Company he started Rivendell Bicycle Works. A mail-order bicycle company in Walnut Creek, California. Rivendell Bicycle Works specializes in lugged cromoly bicycles.
