Grandpa Moves Out is a fourth season episode of Rugrats.
[edit] Story
Grandpa Lou gets into an argument with Stu and Didi, not to mention makes Spike growl at him and he makes Tommy cry. He sees an ad for a retirement home on TV (showing it as an exotic resort, with world-class fishing and French cuisine, as explained by a Ricardo Montalbán look-alike). Lou, still upset with his family, is convinced by the ad, and he immediately packs his things and leaves. Tommy does not know what’s going on and misses him; Angelica explains to him that their grandfather went to "tired home", where all old people do is sleep all day. When the kids go with their parents to visit Lou, Tommy and Angelica are left with a "Resident Grandma" in the lobby, while Lou shows Stu, Drew, and Didi around the building, which is not exciting as it was advertised, with (Pork and beans instead of French cuisine, and a small pond filled with pet goldfish). The woman in the lobby who is supposed to be looking after the kids falls asleep while showing Angelica and Tommy pictures of her grandkids, and the kids wander off. The cousins soon decide that they need to wake all the old people up, so they can go home and play with their grandchildren, and they cause so much trouble that Lou is kicked out, but now would rather be with his family, instead.
