Grandfather Clock

Grandfather Clock was a regular, on-going character that was a part of the Captain Kangaroo television program. Since Grandfather Clock was very old, he was always asleep when Captain Kangaroo came into the Treasure House. The children who were viewing the program at home we instructed to awaken Grandfather by saying, "One, Two, Three...Grandfather." However, the good Captain admonished the children to speak softly, as Grandfather was quite old and they would not want to startle him.
