Grande Área Metropolitana

A Greater Metropolitan Area (Grande Área Metroplitana in Portuguese) is a type of administrative division in Portugal. Each one consists of at least nine concelhos and has at least 350,000 inhabitants. As of May 2003, they have greater autonomy.
