Grand Theft Bus is a Canadian indie rock band from New Brunswick. The band consists of Tim Walker (guitar, vocals), Graeme Walker (bass, vocals), Dennis Goodwin (guitar, synths, vocals) and Bob Deveau (drums and electronics).
A sonicly dynamic group with an eclectic blend of songs ranging from pop to prog, heavy and intense to light and fuffy, quirky nonsense to meaningful melodrama. They show a strong admiration for songcraft and structure, but are also known for extended epic improv without sounding maliciously repetitive. They are known largely for their live shows, playing about 150 shows annually from coast to coast in their home country of Canada, and occasionally touring festivals in the United States.
A mockumentary about the band, Rubarbicon, was filmed by independent filmaker Greg Hemmings and released in 2006.
