The Grand Mercure Karachi Airport Hotel, is a newly renovated hotel in Karachi, Pakistan. The five star hotel is located a few minutes away from Jinnah International Airport. This is the first venture by Accor group in Pakistan, which currently manages over 750 hotels in 49 countres. The Hotel was renovated from an existing facility on 10 acres of land. It is owned by United International Group (UIG) Private Limited, with Mr. Muhammed Akhtar Qureshi as the C.E.O. and has a substantial minority interest from the JS Group. Upon opening, the Grand Mercure Karachi Airport Hotel will be the only international standard hotel in the Northern Karachi and Airport area.
