Granarolo dell'Emilia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 10 km northeast of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,008 and an area of 34.4 km2.[1]

The municipality of Granarolo dell'Emilia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cadriano, Lovoleto, and Quarto Inferiore.
