- The album is named after the PlayStation game Gran Turismo which the band played extensively while on tour[citation needed].
- The song My Favourite Game opens the racing game Gran Turismo 2, the sequel to the above mentioned game. In the European/Japanese versions, the song was a remix.
- The song Erase/Rewind is featured in the end credits of the movie The Thirteenth Floor.
- The song My Favourite Game was used is Chris Haslam's part of Almost: Round Three, a popular skateboarding film of the team, Almost.
