Graham Alexander (born 10 October 1971 in Coventry, England) is a professional footballer and the captain of Championship team Preston North End. He previously played for Scunthorpe United and Luton Town before joining Preston for £50,000.
Alexander, a defender, plays for the Scotland national team despite being born in England. He became captain of Preston North End in 2006, the same year which saw him gain his 25th cap during the defeat of France. He is also the first choice penalty taker at the club and is fast approaching 400 games for the club.
