Gründau is a township in the district Main-Kinzig, Hesse (Hessen), Germany.

Gründau is a township that consists of seven villages. It is located in a partly rural, hilly environment.

Nearby you find two very scenic towns, Gelnhausen and Büdingen. Frankfurt am Main, the biggest city in Hesse, is located in a distance of about 50 km and is easily accessible by car or by railway.
