My name is Greg. I currently attend Texas A&M University where I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. I will be completing my course requirements this semester and hope to begin research work for my dissertation soon.

I am primarily interested in solid mechanics which is a broad field spanning subjects such as:

• Classical mechanics (rigid body mechanics)
• Continuum mechanics
• Elasticity
• Mechanics of composites materials
• Plates and shells
• Viscoelasticity
• Plasticity
• Fracture mechanics
• Micromechanics

I am also very interested in the Finite Element Method, which is a general tool for obtaining approximate solutions to partial differential equations.
