Hello. My name is Jeff and I am a Computer Science student at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. I have been a frequent visitor to Wikipedia since about 2003, and have been editing since July 2005. I consider myself knowledgeable and very involved in the politics of the United States. My political views are centrist-right, but I consider myself an NPOV fanatic.
On the technical side, I have a deep interest in web development, databases, human and computer interaction, artificial intelligence and networks. Years ago, I led Team 348 for some time in the FIRST Robotics Competition. This activity pushed me into studying Computer Science.
I recently launched my own server running FreeBSD 6 to host my own website powered by Java technology (I know...FreeBSD and Java are a strange combination). The website is assembled dynamically for each request using Servlet technology and regular Java classes. It can be viewed here.
