The Governor of Saint Helena is the representative of the British monarch in the United Kingdom's overseas territory of Saint Helena. The Governor is appointed by the monarch on the advice of the British government. The role of the Governor is to act as the de facto head of state, and he or she is responsible for appointing the executive council, who advises the Governor on the running of the territory. The Governor takes sole responsibility for the administration of the territories two dependencies, Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha.

The Governor has his own flag in Saint Helena, the Union Flag defaced with the territory's coat of arms.

The current Governor is Michael Clancy, and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office advertised in British newspapers from March 2007 that a new Governor would be required to take up the post in October 2007. Recruitment company Odgers list the appointment on their website.
