Government of Sindh is based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. (Sind) سندھ is one of the four provinces of Pakistan and is home to the Sindhis and various other groups. Neighbouring regions are Balochistan to the west and north, Punjab in the north and India to the east. To the south is the Arabian Sea. The main languages are Sindhi and Urdu. Known by various names in the past, the name Sindh comes from the Indo-Aryans whose legends claimed that the Indus River flowed from the mouth of a lion or Sinh-ka-bab. In Sanskrit the province was dubbed Sindhu meaning an ocean. The Assyrians (as early as the seventh century BCE) knew the region as Sinda, the Persians Abisind, the Greeks Sinthus, the Romans Sindus, the Chinese Sintow, while the Arabs dubbed it simply Sind, which is what the province is now known as.

The Governor of Sindh is Dr. Ishratul Ibad khan. The Chief Minister is Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim. Sindh is the major province of Pakistan and also performing a role of backbone in the economy and finance. The government of Sindh had been very week since its had been handling by the redical sindhi peoples.they were not wants to make the sindhi people strong becouse in there think when the every sindhi child will know about modren studies and when the sindhi nation will be totally financed then the ruling of these redicals people will become in week way.so therefore after the partiton of India (Karachi)Sindh became a capital but culd not performe a real job so after it.many polititions decided to change this capital and after karachi, Islamabad became a capital.Sindhi nation specilay youngster were very sad on this step.this step is just like the bangladeshi partion.becouse the main backbon of Pakistani politics is in panjab and panjabies had always been selfish and thay always feld that the Pakistan is nothing with out panjabi nation and always kept a diffrent concept which was totaly against by others provinces. but after 2000 sindhi again made strong and the financial and political movements beguns.and today karachi is a city which is includs in few major and most developed cities and the government is very strong and better then before.
