GoToWebinar

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

GoToWebinar is a Web-hosted service created and marketed by Citrix Online, a division of Citrix Systems. It is Webinar and desktop sharing software, which means that it enables the user to hold Web events for attendees from other computers via the Internet.

[edit] Technology

GoToWebinar was developed in June 2006 by Citrix Online of Santa Barbara, CA. It was designed to allow the desktop view of a host computer to be broadcast to a large group of computers connected to the host through the Internet. Transmissions could be protected with high-security encryption and passwords.

  • 24-bit color when accessing a host PC supporting this display mode
  • Desktop recording for recording Webinar sessions
  • Comes with a copy of GoToMeeting
