Talk:Gordon Strachan/Comments

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I was wavering between B and start but thought that the amount of detail just about swung it into B.

Strengths:

  • Written in a neutral, non-POV manner.
  • The article's statistics, both through the managerial stats table and the infobox, are good.
  • Content since his move into management is quite detailed and informative.
  • Managerial style section is well referenced and informative.
  • A link to wikiquote.
  • Some external links and a lot of wiki-links through templates etc.

Weaknesses:

  • Not many references for an article of its size.
  • Virtually nothing about his time with Dundee, eg when was his senior debut.
  • Not much detail on his time with Aberdeen, short of a list of what he won.
  • Virtually nothing about his Pilton upbringing, early life, supporting Hibs and why he didn't sign for them.
  • Could do with a picture or two.
  • Several more external links would be good, possibly something referenced from his autobiography.
  • An Honours section might improve the article.

All IMO, of course. Caledonian Place 18:16, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
