[edit] Sourcing and POV
This article is unsourced and contained, before editing, much POV. Satements such as 'renowned, 'increasingly in demand' etc cannot be made unless stood up with a source. TerriersFan 01:51, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- I acknowledge that and meant to add references but was a bit confused by how to do it and basically forgot... a lot is detailed on his own website http://www.oboist.co.uk/ but I don't know whether it's best to reference each fact individually or not... Sorry about POV- was aiming to be impartial but clearly failed... Millyanna 22:36 24 June 2006

- First off, many thanks for your interest in Wikipedia. If most of the facts are on Hunt's website then create a References heading and say so, giving the link. Check carefully to make sure that each fact is on that website. If any facts are not there, then do a Google search to find a reliable reference and link that particular fact. If you want to put words like 'renowned' in then source it as a quote e.g. 'Sir John Smith said on 24 May 2005 "Gordon Hunt is a renowned oboist of world-wide repute" {source here}'. HTH. - I tried to find a source for this, but could not find on other then his website (or ones that cited his website). If someone can find a little more verifiable source, that would be great. I'm not too familiar with the subject, so I do not know the best places to look beyond simple web searches. ~ Falls End (T, C) 21:01, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
