my great grandparents were Charlie and Jessie Robinson. Charlie was born in 1902 the son of a rail road worker. Jessie was born in 1906. They were married in 1925 and Charlie worked as a train driver.36

Thier son Leslie was born in 1927 and their daughter Marjorie was born four years later in 1931.

Charlie continued to work for the railways until his retirerment in 1966.

His son, my grandad, Leslie married Joan Peters in 1958. Both had been married before and joan  had a daughter called Patricia who was born in 1950. In 1960 my mum Sue was born.63 

The family then moved to Australia . They moved to Australia because Grandad who is an engineer got a better job offer over here.

My mum was 4 when She, my grandad and my nana and my auntie moved over to Australia, they then lived in Adelaide for 4 years before moving to Melbourne in 1969 due my grandads job transfer.61

They moved to a house in Mount Waverley which cost $17,000, My mum went to Amstel Primary School and Oakleigh high school. My nana Joan worked in an office for twenty years.My Grandad became the approvals officer for the Australian gas association.

This meant that any gas product wanting to sell to the public had to be approved by my Grandad first. This was a very important positon and my grandad loved his job and was very good at it.81

In 1978 my mum met my dad neil gordon, they married in 1984, they saved money for all that time and had enough money to buy a house in baxter. My dad was a cabinet maker working in a factory in Mornigton and my mum worked in accounts at a car dealership in Frankston.54

In 1990 my sister Jess was born at Frankston Hospital, in 1993 I then came along and crashed the party.

i attended Baxter kinder in 1997 and Baxter Primary School from 1998 to 2004.I am currently attending Mt Erin Secondary College.
