Gorton North

Gorton North is a local government ward in the Gorton area of the City of Manchester. The ward contains Debdale Park, the former Gorton Tub swimming pool, and Belle Vue greyhound racing track. The city councillors for the ward are Wendy Helsby, Dr Jackie Pearcey, and Nilofar Siddiqi. Former councillors include Bernadette Newing, who lost her seat in the local election in May 2006 to Nilofar Siddiqi.

Gorton North is in the Manchester Gorton parliamentary constituency.
