Gornji Grad - Medveščak is one of the districts of Zagreb, Croatia; Gornji Grad translates as Upper Town. It is located in the central part of the city and has 36,384 inhabitants (as of 2001). It includes most of the oldest parts of Zagreb and many of the main sights in Zagreb. The Croatian Parliament and the city's Cathedral are both locate in Gornji grad, as is the popular pedestrian café street Tkalčićeva.
