Gorham is a city in Russell County, Kansas, United States. The population was 360 at the 2000 census.

Gorham is located at 38°52′49″N, 99°1′22″W (38.880366, -99.022682)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 360 people, 149 households, and 91 families residing in the city. The population density was 579.2/km² (1,506.6/mi²). There were 176 housing units at an average density of 283.1/km² (736.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.78% White, 0.83% Native American, 0.28% Asian, 0.83% from other races, and 0.28% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.83% of the population.

There were 149 households out of which 30.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.3% were married couples living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.9% were non-families. 32.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 3.10.

In the city the population was spread out with 26.9% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 26.4% from 25 to 44, 21.4% from 45 to 64, and 19.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 83.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.5 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $23,021, and the median income for a family was $31,563. Males had a median income of $30,357 versus $12,308 for females. The per capita income for the city was $12,655. About 15.4% of families and 14.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 19.8% of those under age 18 and 3.1% of those age 65 or over.
