Gore Obsessed is the eighth album by Cannibal Corpse released in 2002 through Metal Blade Records. It was released onto retail shelves in a black sleeve with the album title in bloody, dripping letters on the outside due to the gruesome artwork. The album cover seems to show a man killed and eaten by zombies, one zombie holding the corpse's brain, and the other zombies ripping the corpse apart and feasting on his flesh. A visual representation of the song "The Pit of Zombies"
