Gordon Power Station, Tasmania

Gordon Power Station is a hydroelectric power station on the Gordon Dam in Tasmania. It has three turbines, with a combined generating capacity of 342 MW of electricity.
The first two turbines, each 144 MW, were commissioned in 1978. A third 144 MW turbine was commissioned in 1988. The power station draws water from Lake Gordon, and, by way of a canal, from Lake Pedder.
