Gordon Institute of Technology

The Gordon Technical College was built as a memorial to Charles George Gordon by the people of the City of Geelong, Victoria, Australia.
It was subsequently renamed the Gordon Institute of Technology. In 1976 the Institute was divided into two. One part was merged with a nearby teacher training college to form Deakin University. The remainder reverted to the earlier name and has more recently adopted the style Gordon Institute of TAFE
