Gordon Institute of TAFE

The Gordon Institute of TAFE is the TAFE institute servicing Geelong, Victoria since 1887. Originally called the Gordon Technical College in honour of Charles George Gordon, the name later was changed to the Gordon Institute of Technology. The Institute was divided into two parts, one of which became a major part of Deakin University. The other part reverted to Gordon Technical College before adopting its present name.
