Coach Bombay, "Ducks fly together!"

Gordon Bombay, played by Emilio Estevez, is the head coach of the fictional Mighty Ducks movies. Bombay was sentenced to coach the District 5 pee-wee hockey team, who later became the Ducks, after being charged with DWI. Bombay played pee-wee hockey as a child for the pee-wee Hawks, who had a reputation for being the best team in the league. After being tripped on a breakaway in the final seconds of the championship game, Bombay was given a penalty shot. Bombay missed by a quarter of an inch and hit the post and his team went on to lose in overtime. This seemed to be the end of Bombay's hockey career until he was forced into coaching the Ducks. He later attempted to make a comeback, and was signed to a minor league contract. He appeared to be well on his way to the NHL, until he suffered an injury that forced him to retire. It is interesting to note that both his first and last names are brands of gin.
