From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gord Miller is a Canadian sportscaster for the cable network, TSN. Working alongside Pierre McGuire, Miller has been the lead National Hockey League play-by-play announcer for TSN since 2001, when the network re-acquired national broadcast rights for the NHL.

The first play-by-play announcer for NHL games on TSN was Jim Hughson - now with Rogers Sportsnet, a rival Canadian sports network. Hughson left TSN in 1994 and was replaced by Paul Romanuk, who served as TSN's lead hockey voice until leaving the network in 2001.

Prior to working on The NHL on TSN, Miller was host of Molson That's Hockey. He has also covered the Memorial Cup, the World Hockey Championship and the Women's World Hockey Championship for TSN, and does play-by-play for the network's coverage of the World Junior Hockey Championship.

For six years he provided play-by-play coverage of the CFL, and has also covered events as diverse as the World Series, the British Open, and the World Figure Skating Championship.
