[edit] Article focus

This article should be about the book, with a section for the TV version. Unfortunately it's now nearly a decade since I read it and I haven't got a copy at hand so I can't contribute. Rory 20:12, Sep 25, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Cast

Is the cast accurate? It doesn't match the IMDB listing, anyway. I don't want to change it in case it refers to a different version not mentioned elsewhere in the article. 80.192.131.182 17:01, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

yes the cast is accurate but not for the imdb version, this refers to one which was released not long after the book was written but is largely forgotten now. so far as i know it hasn't been shown on tv anytime in the last few years, nor have i ever seen it on sale. maybe someone out there has more info on this version/actually has a copy of the original? in any case the john thaw version is generally considered the 'official' version.

corrected cast, the official film version (sanctioned by the author) is not the same as the more well known yet unofficial john thaw version. unsinged comment by 62.31.160.60 (talk contribs)

[edit] Film cast

I have taken the above on trust and augmented the article. I have contacted the editor to check his source. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 12:06, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
