Gonzalo Castro (born June 11, 1987 in Wuppertal) is a German football player of Spanish descent. He currently plays as a midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen. Castro is a talented young player with huge potential.

Castro has been getting attention as a possible player for the German International team in upcoming years.
He also played for German U-21s at 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. He made his international debut for the Germany national football team in a friendly against Denmark on 28 March 2007.
