Gonçalo Brandão

Gonçalo Brandão (born October 9, 1988 in Lisbon, Portugal) is a young footballer contracted by Belenenses. He is currently on a one-year loan spell at Charlton Athletic, a deal which includes a clause allowing the club to make the signing permanent. Gonçalo Brandão is an aggressive player and is known for his temper. He is currently the youngest player in Charlton Athletic and the Preimership. He was also wanted by Dutch, Scottish, French and a number of English clubs.

On February 4, 2007 he played his first Superliga match for Belenenses against Vitória F.C. [1]
