Golitsyno

Golitsyno (Russian: Голи́цыно) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located in 40 km west of Moscow. There is a station of the Moscow – Minsk railroad with same name. Population: 19,500 (2004 est.); 16,189 (2002 Census). It was founded as a settlement in 1872, and was granted town status in 2004.
