Goldstein's Toe Sign

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Goldstein's Toe Sign" is associated with Dr. Hyman Isaac Goldstein (1887-1954), an American physician and medical historian. It is defined by "Who Named it"[1] as a "clinical sign characterized by increased space between the great toe and the adjoining toe, seen in cases of Down's Syndrome and occasionally in cretinism."
