Golden Hockey Stick (Czech Republic)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Czech Golden Hockey Stick is an ice hockey award given annually to the top player from the Czech Republic. It has been awarded since the 1993-94 season, after Czechoslovakia split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It can be given to any Czech player, whether in the NHL, the Czech elite league, or elsewhere.
Jaromir Jagr has won this award more than any other player: seven times. Dominik Hasek has won it five times, including three times in Czechoslovakia prior to 1994.
