Golden Films

The Golden Films were a small series of animated features based on popular children's stories. There were a total of seven, around 49 minutes in length and were released in 1992 by GoodTimes Home Video. All seven of these films were produced by Diane Eskenazi and written by Jack Olesker.
They were the first wave of animated films to be part of the Collectible Classics line by GoodTimes Entertainment, two years later, in 1994, Jetlag Productions attempted to continue the line with new animated film adaptations of classic stories such as Cinderella (1994) and Leo the Lion (1994).
When GoodTimes originally released both Golden Films and Jetlag Productions's animated films on VHS, they were given the tagline of The version children love!
When all seven titles were released in Spain in 1992, not in stores, but as a TV promotion, they were packaged together along with a storybook and a puzzle with an image from each of the films.
