Golden Age of Armenia

The Golden Age of Armenia was a time when the Kingdom of Armenia flourished. Culturally the invention of the Armenian alphabet by Mesrob Mashdots in 405 triggered the golden age. In an effort to propagate and encourage the usage of the new alphabet, many books such as the Bible were translated into Armenian by him and his students, called the Translators.
