GoldNow

GoldNow was established in 1999 and the longest running independent operator, out of the list of digital currency exchangers. GoldNow was initially started in Australia, by Graham Kelly. Ownership passed to a christian charitable trust in 2000. Due to Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) restrictions, GoldNow ownership physically moved from Australia. As of January 2007, they claim over 150,000 customers, of which some 25,500 have "verified status". Approximately 80% of GoldNow customers are from the United States, but the largest growth trend is based in Asia, especially China.
