[edit] Plot

The group remarks on how it has almost been a year since they all got jobs at the mall. But things might not be such a happy anniversary after all. Wyatt is still sad about Serena breaking up with him, and it doesn't help when he sees her kissing Chad. Caitlin has a new boyfriend, Talon, who suffers a black eye from Caitlin hitting him with a backpack by accident. Jude sells a Stick-It to Christo, but it has a cockroach in it. Christo bites into the cockroach and faints in the food court. Jonesy hears that Taj Mahome Videos, an extremely popular chain of video stores, has a store opening in the mall, which has all sorts of benefits to working there. So Jonesy, along with half the mall, try to apply for a job there.

Christo gets Ron to give a health check to Stick-It. The restaurant flunks the test big time and Jude has to find a new job. Wyatt is being immature and angry all the time, and really embarrasses Serena and Chad in front of Spin This. Serena fires Wyatt, which shatters him almost as much as the break-up did. Caitlin continues to inflict wounds on Talon by sheer clumsiness, including a 2nd Degree burn on his arm and smashing his "kiwis" (testicles) in a car door. Caitlin is terrified that Talon will break up with her. Both Jonesy and Jude try for a job at Taj Mahome Videos, but Christo and Blade are the managers. Jonesy and Jude are kicked out.

Because there is openings at The Underground, another video store (and the most unpopular store in the mall) Jonesy, Jude and Wyatt decide to try for jobs there. Jonesy and Jude get hired by Wayne, The Underground's manager, but he doesn't hire Wyatt because he doesn't feel like it. Talon reveals that he would never break up with Caitlin, because she is so special. They kiss and Talon licks her face all over. Caitlin debates with Nikki and Jen about whether she should break up with him, but they suggest that she try to teach him how to kiss. Caitlin takes Talon to a kissing movie.

Wayne fires Jonesy because he fails a test, but hires Wyatt because he passed the test. Caitlin tries to swoon Talon into a regular kiss, but he still licks her face again. Disgusted, Caitlin breaks up with him. The group gathers and talks about how the anniversary isn't to happy, and when Caitlin sees Talon again, she starts chasing him with a knife in her hand, asking him to forgive her. She trips and possibly stabs him off camera.

[edit] Quotes

  • (Wyatt sees Chad and Serena kissing through a sound box. Wyatt falls through the doorway)
Serena: Wyatt? What are you doing here?
Wyatt: Just...checking...if you wanted a coffee.
    Serena: No thanks, I'm good.
Chad: Actually, I could use a coffee right now.
Wyatt: Coming up. (looks back at Serena and Chad kissing) *Sigh*.
  • Jen: Would you dump a girl just because she answers the phone "Y'ello?"
    Jonesy: I would, it's annoying.
    Nikki: Told you so.
  • Caitlin: Look at them kissing. So soft...so smooth...so DRY.
Talon: Yeah, that gives me an idea.
(They reach over to kiss. Talon licks her faces again.)
Caitlin: EEEWWWWW! I CAN'T DO THIS! YOU KISS LIKE A GOLDEN RETREVIER!

[edit] Trivia

  • Jonesy remarks on how he would dump a girl if she answered the phone "Y'ello?" Later in the episode, either done as a joke or an ironic coincidence, he answers the phone the same way.
