Professional reviews

Goin' Off is the debut album by Biz Markie, an American hip-hop musician. The album was released by Cold Chillin' Records, therefore it featured production only from Marley Marl. Despite Biz's somewhat lack of lyrical talent, the album was praised for his wit and humour. Big Daddy Kane wrote many of the better rhymes for Biz on this album. This album also showcased Biz's talent as a human beatbox on the song "Make The Music With Your Mouth, Biz", and his skill in the game of dozens on the track "Nobody Beats The Biz". Biz's most widely known song, "Vapors", is also featured on this album.

The album was re-released in 1995, however it omitted the Marley Marl remixes with the original songs.
