Goeldia obscura is a spider species of about 5mm. While the males have a broad light reddish brown cephalothorax and a slimmer black abdomen with four shining white dots, the females are dark brown with a broader black abdomen and no dots. Adults occur from May to July in limestone areas. This spider builds its small webs under rocks.
