God Module is a US-based aggrotech band founded in Orlando, Florida in 1999 then relocated to Western Washington in 2006. The band is currently signed to Metropolis Records in the US and Out of Line Music in Germany.
God Module's founding members were Jasyn Bangert (vocals, synth, programming) and Andrew Ramirez (vocals, synth, programming). The debut album Artificial was released by Inception Records in 2000 and licensed to Trisol for European release. After its release, God Module left Inception and Ramirez left the band. The Perception EP was released by Sector 9 Studios and European label Out of Line Music in 2002.
In 2003 the band released its second album Empath. They played at the Wave Gotik Treffen festival in Leipzig and headlined at Infest.
In 2004, God Module re-released their debut album as Artificial 2.0 and released the EP Victims Among Friends. They played at the Out of Line Electro festivals in Germany and appeared on the resulting DVD, Electro Line Festival (2005).
They released their third album Viscera in October, 2005. The band's current members are Jasyn Bangert, Courtney Bangert (vocals, live keyboards), and Byron C. Miller (synth, programming).
As of 2006, they are working on their 2nd Metropolis Records album titled Let's Go Dark, to be released in April of 2007.
