[edit] Uric the Oddball
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought Uric the Oddball was a wizard? He was certainly portrayed as one in the video game Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, at least in the GameCube version, although the games are not generally accepted as canon. However, in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them he is referenced several times, and never referred to as a goblin, and, although I don't recall it ever explicitly saying he was a wizard, the impression I got from the book was that he was one. I think I know why he is cited as a goblin (because of his descriptive title), but I'm not sure that's sufficient. However, I haven't removed the point from the article because I'd first like to be sure that Rowling hasn't officially stated him to be a goblin at any time I wasn't aware of; not being an expert on the series, I may have overlooked something. 21/2/2006
