Gobinath is mostly used in Sri-Lanka and means Fathers of God. The term Gobinath is only used in conjunction with other words such Murugan, Parameswari. This is because he is the son of Murugan and Parameswari. Murugesapillai is mostly used outside Sri-lanka to signify Murugan.
