The Goathland Plough Stots performing at the World Millennium Sword Spectacular in Whitby, North Yorkshire (England) in 2000. The Plough Stots are the village team who continue to perform their traditional local Long Sword dance; and are the only remaining village team in a local cluster of Long Sword dances which includes the dance from the nearby village of Sleights, notated by Cecil Sharp in 1912.
