[edit] Reception
The announcement of the Go West in Bosnia, a more conservative society where religion has a powerful role, lead to director Imamovic recieving death threats, and angered various religious groups throughout the country, who condemned the film.[1] Go West was, however, nominated for the Grand Prix des Amériques award at the Montréal World Film Festival, 2005.
