Go Betty Go is a Los Angeles all-girl pop punk band consisting of Emily Wynne-Hughes (vocals), Aixa Vilar (drums), Betty Cisneros (guitar) and Michelle Rangel (bass). Their Latina origins influences their music, most obviously are the Spanish lyrics, which they often use.

When the band was formed they consisted of, Betty Cisneros, Michelle Rangel, and the sisters, Aixa and Nicolette Vilar.

Following their well-received debut EP Worst Enemy in 2004, Go Betty Go continued their impressive rise with a series of non-stop coast-to-coast appearances, not the least notable of which was inclusion on the Warped Tour. Their music is featured in a range of media, from commercials, films and TV shows like Punk'd, One Tree Hill, Spring Break: The Movie and The Entertainment Tonight Insider, to video games such as Burnout 3: Takedown, The Sims 2: University, and Fantastic Four, for which the band wrote an original track for. They have also been featured in the pages of Alternative Press, Seventeen, L.A. Times and numerous Spanish publications, such as La Opinión, HOY and Latina.

In 2005, the band released Nothing Is More. Produced by Flogging Molly's Ted Hutt, Nothing Is More is leavened with several differing moods and sounds. Themes of desperation and hope are explored, particularly on opener "Saturday" and "Runaway". "The Pirate Song" goes off the beaten path with a tongue-in-cheek magnetism, enhanced by the PoguesJames Fearnley’s accordion and Hutt’s banjo. A handful of Go Betty Go stage show staples are captured "Crumbling Down", "Donde Voy" and "No Hay Perdon".

Due to their punkish-style of music , they are considered the female "counterpart" of Bowling for Soup.[citation needed]

On February 13, 2006, the band announced that Nicolette Vilar had left the band, confirming rumors that she was leaving. The reason given, was she had become disillusioned with the rock star lifestyle. The band began auditioning new singers to take her place.

On May 30, 2006, Go Betty Go announced their new singer, Emily Wynne-Hughes, an 18 year old from Los Angeles, California.
